Date of birth: 8th August 2010
Towards the end of 2015 we were informed of 4 children who were in desperate need from a neighboring village, and we were able to offer them a permanent home with us in December 2015.
Christina is from Kayunga Mukono District - a neighboring village. She came to us with her brother, Jonathan. Their father left their mother for another woman. Their mother depends on farming their small piece of land to feed them. They live in a one room house. There is four of them with the same mother and the father has many more children from other relationships. When Christina first arrived she had a chronic cough and cold that was turning into whopping cough, she had worms and was really malnourished. We took her to hospital where she was given antibiotics. After giving her vitamins, cod-liver oil, deworming tablets and a balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables, she is doing well. She is a very quick learner, a clean and responsible girl who loves reading, writing, singing and playing.
